notes

Another weekend has come and gone and I didn't have a chance to go out and shoot. Other pressing issues kept me from doing anything this weekend, which also explains why it's been 4 days since my last post.

I present this picture as kind of a transition between the last few weeks' shots and the ones over the next few days. While I've been enjoying the urban-ness of my recent posts, I've had a couple of opportunities to shoot different subjects lately and I'll be posting those.

This photo was taken at the old Riverdale Zoo Farm. The background is too bright for my liking, but (a) I like the composition and subject of the foreground, and (b) I couldn't devote too much time to processing so I've presented the photo pretty much as it is on the film.

I like the subtlety of the color in this shot... The DOF is great and I really like the semi-abstract nature. Very interesting to look at. Nicely done!

I think the background is fine...sometimes reality IS a touch over-exposed, ya know what I mean? I love the simplicity here and the lines. This is a great shot....well done!

Love the line, the framing is perfect and so is the dof!

This may sound slightly out of the ordinary, but I really love your photoblog layout! It's just so clean-cut and basic while still awesomely visually appealing, without detracting from the photo. Awesome. The photo is also awesome, as always.
