notes

This is the second of two pictures taken by Queen Street and the Don River.

This is the first picture that I've experimented with expanded dynamic range to bring out the shadow detail on the underside of the bridge and keep the highlights from getting blown out. The picture was bracketed when I first took it at 1-stop under, correct exposure, and 1-stop over. I then scanned all 3 frames and followed the technique described by Andreas Tofahrn. I still need some more work to master the technique, but I'm generally pleased with the image and I was able to get a lot of shadow detail without resorting to heavy-handed curve adjustments.
