The lighthouse at Leslie Spit | June 16, 2006
notes

After walking for nearly 2 hours along the Lesie Spit, the small, unimpressive lighthouse at the end was my reward. There was no way I was leaving without taking a picture, but the lighthouse itself isn't much to look at. Still, I like the sepia tone and the softness of this image. And yes, there's a lot of noise in the sky. It's a combo of grainy 200-speed film and some wierd artifacting I got off the scanner that I couldn't fix without making it worse in Photoshop.

Strong composition and like the tone - lighthouse seems kinda tilted - or perhaps it's my imagination?

The Sepia tone for this piece is perfect. I really like the quality of the overall composition of this piece, and you've made quite an impact out of what you perceived as something "unimpressive", a sure sign of talent.
