As you can probably tell, I Photoshopped the crap out of this image. The original picture was very flat as it was late morning by the time I took it and the sun was high up in the sky. I've always felt that applying excessive filters and curve corrections in Photoshop is "cheating", so I guess that's why I'm not sure what to make of this image.

With the exception of the slight noise in the sky I would not have noticed it was over photoshopped. I have to agree I am not a big fan of shots that look to have been processed, preferring them to be more natural like this one.

Rob, I think the noise in the sky was mostly because I shot on ISO 200 film and was a little heavy-handed with Noise Ninja.
