I've been having to dip into my archived images as the weather has turned much colder and I really don't enjoy shooting with my gloves on.

This picture was taken about 12 years ago just as I was getting into photography. I saw something in the straight lines of the playground equipment, the bright colours, and the randomness of the leaves. Visually it's a bit confusing but I was pretty proud of it at the time.

There is something very zen-garden-ish about this scene and perspective, I think I too woulda stopped and shot this photo too.

The blue contrasts heavily with the remaining earth tones in the shot and that makes one focus in on it more.
