I couldn't figure out the direction I wanted to take this in until I started playing around with it in Photoshop. It's cool when it all works out, but I trashed 2 versions before this one, which I really like.
Taken somewhere on the Leslie Spit. I don't even think I got off my bike for this one.

That's a really cool shot thanks to the colors and the awkward presence of the red lifesaving kit. I like it !

Nice and tranquil. I'm not fond of lake swimming. Too much gook on the floor...

I must say you stopped the bike at the perfect spot, the framing is superb and so are the colors!

nice clean shot. sort of postcardish. i would have probably tried using the ring as a frame...but that is just me. the coloring is really tight esp tthe light greens. natural light or reflecting?

cy: The lighting is natural, no reflectors, no flash, but the heavy Photoshop processing gives the greens a healthy glow.
Thanks for the comments!

Great shot! I love the light halo near the horizon, a great canvas to paint red.

Your photos are beautiful, I love the subject matter. If you haven't already, you should consider shooting the interiors of the Toronto Island ferries... the gears/paddles in conjunction with the sweet desk that the operator sits at would fit right in here.
Keep up the great work!
