I started this blog in January of this year with high hopes, one of which was the hope to post daily. While that may have been setting the bar a bit too high for myself, I can say that I'm quite happy with everything else: 100 pictures, 190 comments, and 40,805 visits in just 303 days. I shoot more photos now than I have in the past, and I'm enjoying photography as a hobby. The photoblog has become my personal gallery (without the costs and pains of mounting and framing), and I'm glad to be able to share it with people from every corner of the globe. Thank you to everyone who keeps coming back.

I've made some minor changes to the site over the last few days. Navigating through the photos is now easier, the about page has a contact form, and I've added some categories to organize the photos better. I'll keep adding functionality as time goes on, but the focus is on the photos.

Congratulations! It's no big deal if you don't post daily, shoot at a rate that works for you. Keep up the good work man. You're a fifth of the way to 500!
